The Nordic Food Walk takes you on an adventurous journey into the tastes, flavours, delights and historical significance of the Swedish cuisine!

Important Information:
- Be sure to wear footwear comfortable for walking. The tour will operate primarily outside even during rain/snow, so also be sure to dress for the weather

Route:
Starting off in the Östermalm area, popularised by the rich and the famous, we introduce you to the traditions of Swedish food.
From richly flavoured and exquisite cheeses to game meat.
On top of that beer that is crowned “The Gold of The North”. You get a red-carpet like infusion into the world of Swedish delights at the high end Östermalms Market Hall.
Heading towards the heart of the city we will let you indulge in a traditional Swedish lunch. Along the way we will also introduce you to the crown jewel of our proud Nordic kitchen; the meatball! You will learn what types of potatoes to serve with it, why we have specific jams for it and other fun facts.
Moving on we will guide you through the beautiful Kings Garden. We will pass the the area that Vogue Magazine voted the “third coolest district in the world”.
The tour will end in Old Town, an area that dates back to the 13th century and consists of medieval alleyways and architecture. Here we will treat you with some traditional candy and sweets.

Small Group Tours
A tour can be cancelled with a full refund up to 24 hours before tour departure.
Private Tours
A private tour can be cancelled and fully refunded up to 24 hours before the tour for a normal group of up to 15 pax. For larger groups, it may be amended, cancelled or fully refunded up to 3 days before tour departure, after which we will charge for the amount of guests booked at the deadline.
Gift Cards
Gift cards are non-refundable once purchased. They are valid only for the time period specified on the card at the time of purchase, and must be used before they expire. Gift cards are only valid for the number of guests specified on them.
LATE ARRIVALS AND NO SHOWS
The food we serve on the tour is often pre-prepared in the morning of the tour date, and we also need to reserve seats at venues that charge a penalty fee for any no-shows. Therefore, we recommend you show up 15 minutes before the scheduled starting time of the tour or experience, and that you check-in with your guide no later than 10 mins prior to the tour’s starting time. Our group tours begin & depart precisely at the scheduled tour starting time.
If you show up late or cannot find the meeting point, for any reason, please call us at +4550123645 immediately so that we can guide you to the group, or write us if the line is busy. Refunds will NOT be given past the tour cancellation deadline, except in extraordinary circumstances, such as fx in the case of hazardous weather where the local authorities have ordered that people stay indoors.
CANCELLATION DUE TO PLANES, TRAINS, AUTOMOBILES OR ILLNESS
Inside of 24 hours, your spot on the tour has been reserved exclusively for you. Since we are unable to fill your spot if you’re unable to attend for any reason (including transportation or illness), we do not offer refunds after that time. Please plan ahead so that you are able to join us and don’t miss out!
AMENDMENT POLICY
We would be happy to assist you with rescheduling your tour, free of charge, as long as you do so before the tour cancellation deadline. If you find yourself wanting to reschedule after this deadline (fx due to a delayed plane) please feel free to inquire about doing so, but please also note that we cannot guarantee that we’ll be able to.
